What are the recommended brewing methods?

The short answer is it just depends on what your favorite method is! That being said, we think each coffee shines in different coffee brewing methods.

For Abstract Blend, we love it as espresso, cold brew, and other standard coffee brewing methods!

Loom was made to be our go-to option for drip coffee.

Fringe is our dark roast coffee blend, and we really enjoy it as a drip coffee or espresso.

How should I brew this coffee?

To get the best out of this coffee we always recommend this recipe as a stating point

Brew with a 1:16 ratio (one gram of coffee to every 16 grams of water).
Use water that is between 198 - 204 degrees Fahrenheit
Adjust your grind for a 3-4 minute brew time. (The finer the grind, the longer it will take to brew)

Loom is a blend of Washed Mexico, Washed Colombia, and Natural Ethiopia coffee.

Fringe is a blend of Washed Mexico and Washed Guatemala coffee beans.

Winter Blend is a blend of Natural Honduras and Washed Kenya coffee beans.

For future orders, what size bag should I order?

Great question! Ultimately, it just comes down to your coffee drinking rate, but we loosely recommend the following:

12 oz = Each bag brews approximately 2-3 cups per day for a week.
2 lb = Each bag brews approximately 2-3 cups per day for about 2-3 weeks.
5 lb = Each bag brews approximately 4-5 cups per day for about 3-4 weeks.

Yes! We offer coffee subscriptions with lots of options for all of our coffees. You can choose which coffee to get for your coffee subscription, the frequency of delivery, and how big of a bag you want.
