FAQ's About Tapestry Coffee

What is the story behind Tapestry? How did it start?

The idea of Tapestry Coffee started with wanting to bring specialty coffee to the south metro of the Twin Cities of Minnesota specifically in Lakeville. From there, we came up with the name Tapestry Coffee because we loved the imagery of art that takes time to form, has intentionality, and can be a bit messy behind the scenes; we felt like it fit with how we see the coffee industry!

Where are you located?

We are a Minnesota coffee roaster, and our coffee shop is located in Lakeville, Minnesota.

What is your approach to coffee roasting?

Since we first started roasting coffee, our focus has always been on sourcing the best coffee possible. We do this through partnering with some of the very best coffee importers and careful selection of their green coffee offerings.

From there, we try to roast coffee to as true to the original flavors as possible. For instance, coffees from Guji in Ethiopia are known for flavors of fruits and light florals, so when it comes to roasting a coffee from Guji, we want to honor that and do our best to bring out those flavor notes. On the other hand, coffee from South and Central America are more known for their nutty and chocolate tasting notes. So when we go to roast a Honduras coffee or Guatemala coffee, we roast with that in mind!

We also have create staple coffee blends that are approachable for anyone whether they are a coffee genius or someone that just wants a jolt of caffeine.

Do you offer coffee subscriptions?

Heck yes!

We have a monthly coffee subscription that is customizable and super easy to sign up. You can swap out the coffee, skip a shipment, or cancel at anytime.

You can also subscribe directly to any of our coffee offerings on the individual product pages.

Do you guys offer free shipping?

We have free shipping for all purchases over $45. We also offer free shipping on all coffee subscriptions!

Can I buy coffee from Tapestry Coffee for my office, church, business, etc?

We would love to partner with your office or business!
